2/2/17 – The Maple Grove Tri presented by Life Time is under new local ownership!  Krank Productions LLC is a joint venture between Coach Kris Swarthout and Frank Blackstock.  Kris and Frank are not new to producing top level events, they have been producing and managing everything from small local races to large format national level events around the United States since 2010.  Both Kris and Frank have strong local ties to Maple Grove and the Maple Grove area and and they have both competed in the race during previous years.  We look forward to continuing the great legacy of the Maple Grove Tri and wish all this years athletes the best of luck.

10/31/17 – Registration opens for the 2018 event at midnight!  The race date is Saturday August 25th, 2018.  Save the date.

5/21/18 – Registration opens for the Youth Splash and Dash! A fun kid only event held on Friday evening.  This years race will begin at 6pm on Friday August 24th.

11/13/18 – 2019 registration opens at 12:01am December 1!  Set your clocks and mark your calendars.  Splash & Dash race day is Friday August 23rd and the Adult event will be Saturday August 24th.

3/8/20 – Registration is open and we are excited to announce that we have 2 USA Triathlon certified paratriathlon friendly distances this year, Sprint and International.

6/23/20 – The 2020 Maple Grove Triathlon has been cancelled.

11/22/21 -The 2022 Maple Grove Triathlon is the official USA Triathlon State Championships for Age Group and High School!
